Psalms 68:11 The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.

The 2018 Bible Conference has concluded but the impact will go on for eternity! Many willing hearts, hand and feet came together from all over the metro and the world to assemble God's word so we can get it to the world. Over 6700 Arabic parallel New Testaments and 1500 whole bibles were assembled, boxed and ready for distribution.

Now the work of sowing begins. In just a couple weeks we will have opportunity to distribute God's word at the Burnt District festival in Harrisonville, Missouri. As Pastor Tom Brockmeyer mentioned during his presentation, few people they ministered to at the Blue Springs Fall Festival refused the written word of God.

Pastor George Grace left us with the challenge of reading and studying the word of God. Statistically in the United States many are very favorable of God's word but few read it. His messages challenged us to view God's word as precious letters from God (because they are). He took us through a week of application of bible study that was very relevant in application. From the love one has for God's word to the loss of love we feel when we refuse to live what we know. God used Georges messages to expose the text of God's word as well as our hearts for God's word.

In addition to Pastor George Grace we heard great testimonies from Sam Stricklin, Tom Brockmeyer and the College and Career class of Harvest Baptist Blue Springs along, Bill Barker and Pastor Raphael Thomas of Annotto Bay, Jamaica. Pastor Randy inspired us with his leadership and his poignant words as he updated and encouraged us in the work of assembling God's word. It really was a great week!

A special offering was taken up to help cover the costs of the conference and God provided over $8000 toward the publishing of God's word! That is amazing and a wonderful help to the publishing ministry.
