What to expect during your first visit

One of our hospitality greeters will meet you at the door and escort you to one of our adult classes, or assist you with finding a seat for the main worship service.

If you have children with you, they'll assist you in finding the right room for your children. They can also answer other questions you may have about HBF.

At 9:00 a.m visit one of our Adult BIBLE (Biblical Instructions Believers Live Everyday) Fellowship (ABF) classes. There you can meet others and get plugged into one of these smaller group settings where you'll get Bible teaching geared toward different life stages. The best way to get to know people at HBF is to get involved in an ABF. At 9:00 a.m and 10:30 a.m., enjoy praising God at the beginning of Worship service with the beautiful and inspiring music of the praise team. The music is always followed by a clear, helpful, and challenging Bible message from Pastor Hedges. This service is a little over one hour in length.

Where do I take my children?

Starting with excellent nurseries, there is something special for every age child. At every service there are safe, clean, and highly staffed nurseries for children 18 months and under. Beginning at 18 months and up, children attend fun, friendly, and Bible-centered classes. These classes are staffed with well-qualified trained teachers and helpers who will make church exciting and memorable for your child. No matter where your child falls within the children's ministry, you can feel safe knowing that all teachers have passed a full background check and are seasoned saints with a heart for feeding God's lambs. You will receive a tag with an identification number, unique to your child, and will be paged using this number if you're needed during service. Our greeters and ushers are located throughout the building, and will gladly help direct and even escort you to the right place. You can see what room your child's class is in by clicking the appropriate link: Seedlings (nursery), Sonbeams (18 months-3 years), Little Lambs (3-5 years), Caterpillars (K-2nd grade), Mighty Warriors (3rd-5th grades).

What about my teens?

Our student ministries are broken down into three groups: Middle School, Junior High, and High School. This age group their classroom at 9:00am and then attend main service with their parents in the main auditorium.

How should I dress

We want you to be comfortable at HBF so we have no expectation for members or guests to dress in a particular way. Our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit.

Am I Expected to Participate in the Offering?

No. We don't invite you to HBF for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you find here a warm family spirit, truth from God's Word, and a place where you can grow in God's grace. Please don't feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.
