If you have visited the Armory at Heartland Baptist Fellowship, you know that they are serious about Bible assembly and getting the Bible where it needs to go on time. The team works year-round on projects for multiple languages going to countries all around the world.
If you have visited the Armory, you also may have noticed that they are running out of room. With the equipment, tools, and the signatures themselves, they are often looking for places to temporarily store pallets of signatures, especially when working on a big project.
At the end of January, they received 25,000 Bibles worth of signatures. This is more than they have room to store, so the team decided that adding a container would be the best way to store these signatures nearby for easy access and would also give them a place to put completed pallets of Bibles as they await transport.
Thanks to the work of our facilities Pastor, Steve Fleshman, and the skidsteer skills of Nick Lavergne, the Word First Team now has a container right next to the building which will provide a much needed extra bit of space.
We also relocated the facilities container to clean up the back of the HBF main building.
