Bible Conference 2026

This year's Bible Conference was a great accomplishment in the advancement of the gospel as we assembled 10,000 Albanian New Testaments to send to Albania and Kosovo.

This translation of the Albanian Bible was completed at the end of 2025 and was printed by Bearing Precious Seed and the first 12,500 whole Bibles were assembled at Heartland Baptist Fellowship and the members of the Word First Bible Publishing team in February of 2026 and shipped to Albania in May.

Since that time, the churches in Albanian and in Kosovo have been hard at work using these Bibles in their churches and in their evangelism efforts. We cannot wait to see how God continues to use these whole Bibles as well as the New Testaments that were just completed at this year's conference.

In addition to the publishing of the Bible, we were also blessed to hear each evening from Pastor Jeff Bartell of First Baptist Church in New Philadelphia, OH and former missionary to the country of Albania. His heart for the Albanian people and his desire to get them a reliable translation of God's word was instrumental in getting this project completed. We also heard from Pastors Mike Blake and Beau Green of Maple City Baptist Church in Monmouth, IL and Pastor Brad Nelson of Grace Baptist Church in Lee's Summit, MO, and the conference was capped off by Pastor Brian Hedges of Heartland Baptist Fellowship.

Every year, this conference is a culmination of a lot of work and huge effort by many within our church and from individuals and group from other churches. It is a true Philadelphian partnership that is needed to publish God's Word and we praise God for the support and efforts of everyone involved!

If you would like to get involved in helping the Word First team complete the remaining 12,500 whole Albanian Bibles that will be shipped along with the 10,000 New Testaments from the conference, reach out to our church office at 816-380-3033 and we will let you know the dates and times that the assembly work will be happening so you can put your hands on the word.
