Time Lab Vacation Bible School!
Discovering Jesus from Eternity Past to Eternity Future!
Join us for our Vacation Bible School, where your kids will have fun while learning great truths from the Bible!
This year HBF will have Vacation Bible School for kids this summer starting June 25-29, starting each evening at 6:30 p.m. and concluding at 9 p.m. The kids will get to experience traveling through time in a Time Lab as they learn that Jesus Christ is God!
There will be games, science projects, snacks, songs, memory verse challenges, and of course a whole laboratory full of fun! Any children going into first grade up to going into fifth grade can take part in this great adventure.
There is no cost for any children to take part and if you register your child before June 5th they are guaranteed to receive a free Time Lab T-shirt.
In this day and age, it’s vital that we teach our children that the Bible is more than just a dusty book of stories. We need to show them God’s Word connects to every area of our lives and is as relevant today as it was thousands of years ago. Your kids will travel through time with us as we meet the most important man ever—a man who was not just a man, but also God. One who turned the world upside-down. One who existed outside of time.
Each day we will embark on Time Lab and using the words beginning with “C” we will discover that Jesus is our forever faithful, loving, caring, promise-keeping Lord, has been with us always!
- Day 1: Creation: Did you know the Son of God has always existed? We’ll talk about his existence before time and his activity at Creation.
- Day 2: Christophany: Big, cool word the kids will love learning that teaches the Son of God didn’t start as a babe in a manger but has been around forever, actively involved throughout history, including the Old Testament! They’ll study the biblical accounts of Abraham and Moses that show appearances of the Son of God to people before he came to earth.
- Day 3: Cross: Here’s when Jesus is actually given the name “Jesus.” And here’s where he lives, dies, and comes back to life. It’s the most epic historical account ever! Because of him, we can live forever, too! Although opportunities to present the gospel are provided every day, this is the day we’ll present the gospel in all its glory.
- Day 4: Clouds: After Jesus rose again, where did he go? He’s actively working on our behalf as he sits at the right hand of God the Father, interceding for us, protecting his Church, and preparing a place for his children! Wow!
- Day 5: Crown: We’ll end our tour through time at the new heaven and new earth, where Jesus and his children will live together in the most amazing place forever. Whatever your best day ever has been, a day on the new earth will blow it away!
