The team is in the village and working to prepare shelter for the folks about 60 miles (as the crow flies) south of Mount Everest in the Himalayan mountains of Nepal. The team was able to worship together in view of the villagers and are working hand in hand to construct their temporary shelters to get them through the monsoon season. You can see from the images that the ground is muddy in some places. In other places you can see the arid nature of the high elevation. If you have never been to Nepal, it is an amazing journey through various exotic landscapes but the most precious thing is Nepal is not the eco-system or the environment, but the Nepali people.

This project reminds us of the journey Jesus made from Heaven to earth to reveal his love and desire to prepare a place for us who believe upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

John 14:1-4 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. 4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
