Preparing For Harvest with "Summer Slam VBS"!

If you have entered the Elementary wing this past week you will notice a beach theme has been developed all the way down the hall. It has been amazing to see how the body of Christ has come together to decorate for this year's Vision Conference VBS!

Each year Maple City Baptist church of Monmouth, Illinois takes on the responsibility of teaching our children through the week of our Annual Vision Conference. This is a great opportunity for our church family to come together as one man and hear what God is challenging us to do in regard to his vision and mission for reaching the souls in our communities, counties, country and the continents of the world with the gospel so they can obey God's call to follow Jesus as disciples.

Long before the first song is sung or the first message for our Vision Conference is preached, a small army headed up by Mitch and Jody Newland mobilize to decorate the Elementary wing hallway and rooms for the arrival of the Monmouth ministry team. This is no small endeavor, but the great saints of HBF always come together with joy to accomplish the work of decorating the Elementary wing. This year is no exception. With the advent of Easter, the work was expedited, and they finished in record time!

Please make sure and thank all those who worked to transform our Elementary wing into a delightful beach scape and bring your children and tell your friends and neighbors about the great VBS going on at HBF April 11-14, 2021!
