The Juarez Team has been very busy. Late last night we received a great report on their progress in Juarez. It is encouraging to hear good news from Juarez.

As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country. Proverbs 25:25

We have been working day and night since we arrived. Our first full day here we had lunch, checked into our hotel and immediately hit the streets to pass out fliers for the Friday/Saturday event in the park to reach the lost. We did a lot of walking and we're pretty hot but enjoyed time with our Iglesias Bautista de Valle friends. We spent the evening passing out more fliers while the men spent many hours erecting a huge tent. On Thursday we did more street evangelism and fliers then spent the rest of the evening helping them with their vbs decorations. Today was a busy day making decorations and preparing for the tent event. I'd say we had about 100 guests at the event where we did face painting, played games, had skits, games and of. Purse the gospel was presented. Many came forward. We are excited for tomorrow because for the first time we will get to help in a an orphanage ministry where we will go to two local orphanages to have worship, a lesson and help serve the snack. Then it will be pack to the park for another evangelism event. Everyone is doing well on the team and have been working hard in the heat.

We have made many new friends and have reacquainted with old friends. I personally talked with a young woman at IBV whose brother was murdered while at dinner with friends in Juarez about 5 years ago at the age of 22 when it was very dangerous here. The city looks the best we have seen in many years and the people are feeling safe now to do ministry here.

Thank you for your continued prayers. I believe Ron is sharing his testimony and singing Sunday morning in worship so please be in prayer for him and the rest of us.

The people here keep asking about the others who have been here in the past and say hola!
