The Heartland Baptist Fellowship 2026 Discipleship Training Luncheon was a great experience for all involved. Attendees gained valuable insights from 3 of our own pastors, connected with fellow believers, deepened their understanding of biblical discipleship, and were equipped for effective ministry and personal growth. The luncheon served as a powerful reminder of the importance of disciple-making in the life of the church and the ongoing work of the Gospel. We are thankful for all who participated and for the impactful messages shared.
Pastor Jeff Trude taught on the culture of discipleship in our church. Pastor Jerermy Bonnesen taught on the law of sowing and reaping. Pastor Brian Hedges wrapped up the luncheon by sharing his heart on discipleship.
We also heard from Jamie Davis who encouraged and challenged us on the importance of Bible memorization and hiding God's word in our hearts. Pam Jackson talked about the importance of the book of Psalms when dealing with all the emotions of life. She has written a book detailing her study and spoke on the usefulness of the book as a tool when dealing with emotions ourselves or when involved in discipleship and we need a resource that can help direct us to what God's word says on the topic.
It was a great time to be reminded of the importance of discipleship and the responsibility we have to invest the word of God into faithful men and women so that they can teach others also.
