December 24th 2025 was a special service at Heartland Baptist Fellowship. Because of the timing of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day the past couple years, Heartland decided to rest the Christmas Eve service since we had Christmas activities planned on Sunday on either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. 

Heartland started having Christmas Eve candle light services in 2014. It was not as popular then as it as it is today. The expectation was a small intimate gathering as we had the last time we celebrated Christmas Eve Candlelight service. We were suprised to have over 200 in attendance. It was a wonderful time of singing, relflecting and celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We concluded in prayer and praise as we were dismessed to share the love of Christ. As always, the children and teens received a gift on the way out and the dark of Christmas Eve was not only illuminated by candle light, but by the spiritual light that resonated from all who worshiped together that night.
