We begin our study of the seven churches with Ephesus. Ephesus was a powerful and key church. The name "Ephesus" mans "Fully Purposed". This was a church that started well but needed to return to her first works. How easily we get distracted in this age of technology. It is easy to lose our first love! With all the information it is important that we don't lose our love for God's word. Ephesus had good judgment when it came to others but the Lord encourages them to repent, judge their own sin and return to their former strength.
Perhaps you are not running at full strength. It's my prayer that studying Ephesus will renew your strength!
