IGO is an acronym for a ministry called "Intentional Gospel Outreach". IGO supports the mission of God and HBF in the follwoing ways:
- Being Intentional in Gospel Outreach – Taking an intentional and personal approach to fulfilling the command to GO in the great commission. Matthew 28:18-20 - And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.
- Continually engaging the sons of men in the word of God – Taking a consistent and simple approach to sharing the gospel in the lives that we touch and are within our spheres of influence, actively pursuing opportunities to witness every single day! John 8:30-32 - As he spake these words, many believed on him. Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, [then] are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
- Trusting God for Supernatural Fruit in the Lives of Men –With prayer for souls that we can touch with the gospel, and our dependence on the Holy Spirit’s working in accordance to our obedience to his command. Matthew 9:37 - Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly [is] plenteous, but the labourers [are] few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
John 15:5 - I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
