Before we shoot from the hip and run our mouths about others, we should realize God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked. Israel’s enemies rejoiced in her destruction and God judged them. Several chapters of Ezekiel are reserved for the Gentile enemies of Israel because they rejoiced in Israel’s destruction.

Tyson Simon, his wife Holly, and their 3 daughters (Abigail, Mia and Grace) are living in Ft. Smith, Ark., where they have been for 4 years since moving from Harrisonville. The weekend of Aug. 25, Tyson participated in a Sprint Triathlon, and two of his daughters (Abigail and Mia) participated in a Kid Triathlon.

Every year in the early fall, we transform the church into a fully functioning assembly line to assemble as many Bibles or New Testaments as we can. After 10 years of assembling the Word of God to be shipped around the world the work is still just as vital and just as important.

The 2019 Life Issues Recovery Walk/Run took place Aug. 30, with $10,000 raised for the addicted in our community. A total of 34 adult walkers, 13 kids/youth and three runners journeyed along the 4-mile course from the Cass County Detention Center to HBF. Check out some photos from the event and details on the event. 

The men of HBF will be gathering together once a month for Bibles and Breakfast at 8:30am. Bring your bible, your appetite, a friend, and a desire to have an impact in your community for Christ. The food will be great and so will the fellowship but mostly the challenge to rise up and take ownership in ministry to the men of Cass county will be up front for all to see.
