  a special guest speaker\; retired SGM Doug Carragher.\nDr. Carragher is p
 lanning to lead us in a better understanding of how we can serve the men a
 nd women who volunteer to serve us on the front lines defending our right 
 to freely declare the gospel of Jesus Christ. Dr. Carragher also will be s
 haring with us ways in which we as a church may be able to minister to the
  soldiers\, sailors\, and airmen who suffer from difficulties from duty.\n
 Doug was born and raised in Connecticut and joined the Army in 1978. He ma
 rried Deborah Andrews in 1983 in Baltic\, CT while serving on recruiting d
 uty. They surrendered to full time Christian service at a revival in 1997 
 and retired from the Army and entered full time Christian service in 2004.
 \n\nWhile on active duty they planted a church stateside and helped an ove
 rseas church planter in Europe. They have served as a Sunday school teache
 rs\, bus drivers\, AWANA commanders\, and in many voluntary administrative
  positions.\n\nIn 2002 the Lord called them to serve with Armed Forces Bap
 tist Missions a ministry of Good News Baptist Church in Chesapeake\, VA. H
 e became their General Director in 2005. Since becoming the general direct
  the minister has grown by 700%.\n\nDoug is the founder of Wounded Spirits
  a ministry to reach those with PTSD. He has authored three books on the s
 ubject and leads training worldwide.\nJoin us for services in the morning 
 and evening:\n9:00am or 10:30am and then again at 6:00pm in the evening.\n
