The Word to the World 2016 Bible Conference: Behold His Word!
Dates: September 25-28, 2016
Psa 119:18 Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.
This year HBF will be assembling 10,000 New Testaments for missionary Brent Riggs in Poland along with 4,000 English Bibles for a variety of uses. 2,000 Bibles will be for local use through the ministries of HBF. A sister church, Harvest Baptist Church in Blue Springs Missouri will take 1,000 bibles for their use, the remaining 1,000 Bibles will be sent to Jamaica for missionary Bob Westin.
Prior to this event we will be preparing our church to take the word to the world as our "Word First" Bible Publishing ministry organizes a display for the Burnt District Festival the weekend of September 30 and October 1st in Harrisonville, Missouri.
We will be demonstrating the historical process God used to preserve his word in that booth as well as have assembly projects of John & Roman's for souls to assemble at the event. We have been entrusted with God's word and it's a process many of ignorant of even in the church.
The Conference will have three major objectives:
1. Instruction:
Sunday Morning, Sunday evening and Monday-Wednesday evening we will stop and hear the word of God preached. This year we will emphasize the history of our King James Bible.
2. Construction:
We will start assembly of scripture Sunday morning and it will last through Wednesday evening.
Times for assembly:
Sunday from end of second service till 10:00pm
Monday - Wednesday 8:00am - 10:00pm
Volunteers willing to work beyond 10:00pm are welcome
3. Distribution:
The weekend following the Conference we will be in the community distributing the word of God to the world we live in. Likewise we will be sending scripture to Jamacia to aid the ministry of Bob Weston and we will also be sending 10,000 New Testaments to BPS for distribution in Poland.
