Making everyone feel at home and comfortable is a primary consideration for the Connections  Team.

They welcome guests, help members and guests find a seat and generally help with needs in the auditorium. Ushers also help with the offering and distributing Welcome gifts to first time guests. This is a great way to meet new people and help to ensure Heartland is a church that warms, comforts, and ministers to the needs of the body.

It takes no special skill to meet people as they come into the door and make them feel right at home.

We’re always lookng for men and women that have that special way of welcoming everyone as they come into the door, making them feel at home, answering questions and directing them to the answers they need.

There are three places you may serve.

  1. As a door greeter welcoming members and guests into our home, greeting them with a smile, some assistance if needed and a copy of our morning bulletin.
  2. As a usher escorting people to their seats, showing new families how to find their child's classroom, or just monitoring the activites of the morning.
  3. At the Connections Center giving helpful information to those who have questions, assisting with registrations, and giving general assistance and advise to any who needs help.
