Good News From A Far Country
Proverbs 25:25As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country.
Last Sunday as I was going to church I received a text message from Pastor Karl Silva of GGWO Mumbai India. He had was in Gujarat and was preparing to preach the gospel to 500-700 souls. It was Sunday evening in India and he just wanted a little prayer.
Technology is amazing! Before I began preaching my Sunday sermon, Pastor Karl he had already texted me and let me know that 80% of the crowd publicly prayed to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior! The Holy Ghost is more amazing! What great news!
Speaking of good news. I had a great time ministering to the 2008 clients of Dickey Funeral home tonight. Well over 100 showed up to a commemoration service held at HBF. The gospel was preached and hurting hearts were encouraged. Eternity will tell what really happened tonight. I have to throw a shout out to Jerald Dickey for taking the time to care for the people he serves. It was evident in the way he ministered to the people who attended.
Speaking of good news from a far country! Keep Harold and Tammy in your prayer as they get through the holiday season and wrap up their stay in the US. They will be heading back to Brazil at the end of January. We are going to miss them when they return!
