Rest in the Lord

The Theme of our upcoming Vision Conference is Rest. As we enter our seventh year of ministry at HBF it is almost hard to believe all that God has done and wants to do through the faithful folks of HBF. Of course the reality of ministry is that we really don’t have a lot of time to “sit down” or “lie down” and rest in the conventional sense of the word.

 

Our rest is based in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ. As we patiently wait upon him he provides for our every spiritual, emotional and physical need. There will be a one thousand year day to rest, but until that day, our Lord is enough, for his yoke is easy and his burden is light.

 

I am excited about this year’s vision conference! Our dear friend, Blake Anderson, will be our key speaker each session. You will want to mark you calendar to make sure you make the HBF Vision Conference, April 6-9 2008.
