1 Peter 5:8-9

Often times when we hear of the war on terror we immediately think of Al-Qaeda and fundamental Muslim extremist. That is certainly a real threat and one that must be taken seriously. But there is an even more sinister terrorist than Osama Bin Laden or Abu Musawi Al-Zarkawi.

It is good to watch and be aware of threats that could harm you spiritually and physically but the Christian must stand out in a world of uncertainty as those with complete confidence in the security we have in Christ. It is amazes me that in a world that fears almost everything, very few people fear God. There is no greater love than the love that delivers a soul from Hell and no greater fear than rejecting the gift of eternal life offered so freely by God. Let’s make a commitment together to love God more than we fear people or circumstances.
